Christina Yu graduated from Auckland University with a Bachelor of Music, Major in Performance under Prof David Nalden in 2005.
Subsequently, took an Honour¡¦s Degree course with Prof Elizabeth Holowell, also at Auckland University and graduated in 2006.
She played in the Auckland University Orchestra as first violinist from 2003 to 2004, and as concertmaster in 2005 and 2007. In 2006 she was the leader of the second violins of the orchestra. She currently plays professionally in various regional orchestras.
